Destinie and Jimmy love hiking and adventure. They pick a location and plan an elopement in Chiangmai, Thailand from the photo of 2 chedis at the top mountain in Chiangmai – Doi Inthanon. These twin chedis will be represent of eternal love and a couple. The best timeline to visit here is in January – February, winter season.
Elopements are really fun and become an epic. It is a type of wedding where the focus is solely on the couple. They don’t tend to follow a formal structure or timeline, an elopement is just a style of wedding.
After searching the information of 2 chedis (Phramahathat Napamathanidol & Phramahathat Napaphol Bhumisiri) and the location for the elopement. We have to ask for a permission letter from Department of National Parks in Bangkok, pay the fee, book the accommodation, find a celebrant, travelling plan and local guide. This trip took 2 days. It was cold in the morning and took 1 hour at least to get there. Bride and groom separated to change the dress. The ceremony started with sunrise and become our epic.
